Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator

Opportunity for Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator to join Eaton Carpentry Ltd.

We are looking for an experienced QS/ Estimator, ideally with a carpentry background.

Duties to include:

• Estimating – small house new builds to large commercial carpentry packages.

• Liaising with potential client/ contractors.

• Working with the team to ensure successful delivery of projects

• Cost analysis

• Take Offs

• Procurement schedules

• Monthly/ cost reporting

• Application for payment

• Approve subcontractors Valuations

• Programming

• Identifying and negotiating variations

• Attend meetings with clients and colleagues

• Final Account collation

• Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven record in surveying and estimating

• Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy and communication skills.

• Computer literacy in MS Office, Project
